Harry Kane, the striker of German football team Bayern Munich, showed his great admiration for his team as they beat Manchester United 1-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday. At the beginning of this season, the player expressed his confidence about the future of his team.
Kane told British network TNT after the match: “Everybody at the club and the fans have been amazing since I joined the team.”
He added: “I feel there is more to come as I get to know my teammates more and I get to know the style of play the coach wants to implement.”
This will be Kane’s first time playing in England since Tottenham Hotspur.
Kane set up Kingsley Coman’s only goal in the 71st minute at Old Trafford with his magical pass.
After losing 1/5 to Eintracht Frankfurt in the German League (Bundesliga), the team finally got some good news.
Harry Kane will demand more from his teammates for the rest of the season.
The England national team captain is aiming to win the Champions League title with the team, adding: “We’ve had a good start to the season. I feel we still have a lot to achieve.”
He added: “We have enough talent to go far in this competition. Clearly, this is the goal of the club. It has been from the beginning, to win the Champions League.”
Next Monday, the draw for the round of 16, which takes place in February and March, will take place in Nyon, Switzerland.
Next Sunday, Bayern Munich face Stuttgart, who are third in the German league table, one point behind Bayern.
