Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s smart feature “Marafic” information (infrastructure) has improved coordination between the authority and service agencies in Dubai and reduced the steps for obtaining certification from 7 to 3, speeding up the approval of NOC applications from 60 to 20 minutes. By the end of June 2022, around 15,000 No Information Certificates (NOCs) have been approved through this smart feature. The advanced feature relies on GIS to provide a smart electronic link instead of traditional PDF and DGN files, which ensures that all data is protected and prevents its loss when converting files from ESRI GIS format to CAD.
This feature has the advantage of displaying maps and data of the Authority’s services and providing clear, accurate and secure information to those concerned about infrastructure projects in the Emirate of Dubai.
