CFA Society Emirates has officially announced the return of the MENA Investment Congress (MENA ICON) 2025, its flagship event, scheduled for 30th September and 1st October 2025 in Abu Dhabi.

Now in its seventh edition, the congress has become one of the region’s most significant gatherings for global finance leaders, policymakers, and institutional investors, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a strategic hub for investment dialogue, innovation, and growth.

Designed as a platform for knowledge-sharing and strategic thinking, MENA ICON has firmly established itself as a key fixture on the regional financial calendar. The 2025 programme will spotlight artificial intelligence, innovation, capital markets, and family offices, addressing the transformative forces shaping global investment strategies. Delegates will explore how AI, macroeconomic shifts, and private capital flows are redefining value creation and influencing policy across MENA and beyond.

A key highlight will be an exclusive fireside chat with Ray Dalio, Founder of Bridgewater Associates, who will share his perspectives on economic cycles, global risk dynamics, and strategies for building resilience in a rapidly evolving financial environment.

Day one will feature practitioner-led workshops on AI in finance, alternative investments, and career development, offering actionable insights for professionals at all career stages. Day two will focus on keynote speeches and panel discussions exploring geopolitics, risk management, digital assets, and AI-driven disruption.

“MENA Investment Congress has evolved into more than a conference; it is a platform for learning, collaboration, and thought provoking, future-focused dialogue,” said William Tohme, CFA, President of CFA Society Emirates. “This year’s edition will connect global experience with regional ambition, enabling the finance community to lead through innovation and shared knowledge.”

The 2025 congress expects 500+ delegates and more than 30 world-class speakers, fostering an environment for dynamic discussions and high-level networking.

As the largest CFA society in the MENA region, CFA Society Emirates represents over 1,300 investment professionals and promotes professional excellence, ethical leadership, and lifelong learning. Members gain access to career development services, exclusive job opportunities, and initiatives like the Women in Investment Club, designed to foster diversity and leadership.

The event is organised in partnership with Quiet Loud, the region’s leading event technology and experience partner, renowned for delivering AI-powered solutions that prioritise simplicity, innovation, and executional excellence.
