According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, users do not have to connect glasses to their iPhone or Android phone to work, and meta wants to introduce several generations of reality glasses, the first model was released in 2024. Lighter and improved design for 2026 and a third edition in 2028.

Insiders who were not allowed to speak publicly told The Verge that the project was called Project Nazareth and that Meta did not yet have a wearable prototype of its magnified reality glasses, but rather a demo.

Nonetheless, during Zuckerberg’s previous meta presentations the avatars were not created on any working hardware or software, and the CEO is said to want to introduce glasses within two years, and he is finally betting on Metaverse, the future idea for the virtual environment. Users will be able to work, interact and play, and it will be the heir to the Internet.

Not only that, but the AR glasses, which resemble the high-tech fantasy mask worn by Geordi La Forge on the Star Trek TV show, are seen as a potential alarm bell for the smartphone market.
