Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — In 1998, Michael Jordan wore the iconic Air Jordan 13 shoes in black and red to lead the Bulls back to victory., During the second match, From the last NBA championship.

“Michael Jordan sports memorabilia has proven to be the most sought-after item on the market,” Bram Wachter, head of streetwear and novelty collections at Sotheby’s, said in a press release.

The auctioned pair of sneakers were worn during Game 2 in Salt Lake City, in which Jordan scored 37 points after the Bulls lost Game 1, 93-88.

A press release released by Sozby’s House indicated that this is the last pair of Jordans designed by the Air Jordan 13 in black and red to hit the NBA court.

After the second game, Jordan signed a pair of shoes and gifted them to a ball collector, according to Sotheby’s.

A public exhibition of the sale’s memorabilia, including Air Jordan 13 sneakers, will open April 5 at Souzby’s New York.
