According to Amazon’s latest listing, August is rumored to be the month players will get to see the beta version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Instead, Activision split the beta over two weeks, starting in mid-to-late September, first on PS4 and PS5, then on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Battle.net PC and Steam PC next week.

August is used instead to publish many participant events and information. It offers an exclusive look at gameplay from Modern Warfare II’s traditional game modes, new game systems, and a few surprises.
