Saud Abdulaziz, Air Conditioning Engineer for the 2022 World Cup Stadiums, assured that the players and fans of the 2022 World Cup will have the best experience of their lives with the stadium cooling technology. The system will be required for the 2026 World Cup finals in the USA, Mexico and Canada.

The cooling technology aims to stabilize the temperature during matches between 20 and 24 degrees, creating a suitable environment for the players by turning the field into an air bubble with sensors installed to isolate the entire stadium from outside weather.

The cooling system consists of two parts, the first is cleaning and purifying the air and the other is cooling, and it depends on pumping clean and cooled air into the grounds and exhausting and recirculating the hot air. filtered air.

Sensors are used throughout the stadiums to control temperature, humidity and wind, and cooling devices are designed based on 3D models of the stadiums to determine wind strength and shade patterns.

The World Cup will start in November and will be held over 28 days at 8 different stadiums.
