Moroccan media and news outlets announced the death of a fan of King Casablanca yesterday, Wednesday, as Egypt’s al-Ahly equalized in the African Super Cup.
According to eyewitnesses, the 35-year-old Moroccan youth suffered a sudden heart attack, which was equalized by Tahir Mohamed Tahir against King Al-Ahly at the end of the African Super Cup.
As soon as al-Ahli leveled, the fan fell down and asked to be taken to his home, where he was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.
Doha hosted the 2021 African Super Cup match between the Al-Ahly Club, the owner of the African Champions League, and Raja Casablanca, the holder of the African Confederations Cup.
Al-Ahly reached the eighth position at the expense of Al-Raja after seeking a penalty shootout, which ended 6/5 in favor of Al-Ahly.
