Gold prices in Algeria remained stable during trading on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in line with the holiday of global precious metal markets.

The price of gold today in Algeria

The price of a gram of 24 carat gold reached 7767 dinars ($ 56.53) during trading in Algeria on Saturday.

Also in Algeria the price of a gram of 21 carat gold (the most traded in the market) was 6769 dinars ($ 49.47).

The price of a gram of 18 carat gold is about 5825 dinars ($ 42.40).

In terms of economic gold prices in Algeria, the price of 14 grams of gold is about 4531 dinars ($ 32.98), and the price of a gram of 12 carat gold is about 3883 dinars ($ 28.27).

Price of gold per ounce and pound

The price of an ounce in Algeria during trading on Saturday was about 241,554 thousand dinars ($ 1,758).

And the price of a pound of gold (8 grams 21 carats) in Algeria rose to 54,370 thousand dinars ($ 395.98).

Global gold prices

Gold rose on Friday, the dollar fell slightly, and spot gold rose 0.4% to $ 1,242.49 an ounce at 1124 GMT, while US gold futures rose 0.2% to $ 1,762.60. The dollar fell, strengthening the attractiveness of gold to holders of other currencies.

Central Bank President Jerome Powell said another good job report was needed to cut the US Federal Reserve’s $ 120 billion monthly bond purchase plan.
