SpeakUp Makes History on OSN Show With Live Investment Agreement

SpeakUp, an AI-based matching app launched in Dubai in April 2025, delivered a standout moment in the final episode of The Final Pitch Dubai on OSN. The episode aired on 15 December and marked the only time this season that a startup received a direct investment offer on screen. An investor on the judging panel presented SpeakUp’s founders with a SAFE agreement live during the broadcast.

After the founders exited the stage, several judges commented on SpeakUp’s long-term potential. They pointed to the platform’s ability to scale, its early user growth, and the size of the market it aims to serve.

SpeakUp focuses on a clear problem in the events and media sectors. Organisers often lack a single system to request speakers, review applications, communicate, and confirm bookings. SpeakUp brings these steps into one platform.

Most organisers still rely on messaging apps, manual follow-ups, and separate tools. SpeakUp replaces this approach with one integrated workflow. Organisers post an event or speaker request in the app. Speakers apply in one step. All applications appear in one dashboard. Both sides communicate through in-app messaging. The booking then moves into a built-in calendar.

The platform also includes the Growth Marketplace. This feature gives users access to discounted services such as podcast studios, venues, photographers, video teams, editors, and PR providers. These partners are verified, which allows SpeakUp to support event and media teams beyond speaker matching across the MENA region.

Since filming took place in May 2025, SpeakUp has expanded at pace and now ranks among the fastest-growing event technology products in the region. After the programme aired, the company also secured backing from a Dubai-based venture fund through direct talks.

Investors in the UAE and the UK now place SpeakUp’s valuation between 50 and 60 million US dollars. This view reflects user growth, market fit, and regional reach. The app has passed 60,000 downloads, recorded 41,000 registered users, and supported more than 1,300 completed speaker bookings in over 30 countries.

SpeakUp continues to develop as an AI-driven matching platform that supports digital talent infrastructure across MENA. The company remains at an early stage of its wider growth plans.

Available on iOS and Android, enabling seamless booking and communication.
