Press reports have revealed new details regarding the attempt to sign Zinedine Zidane as coach for the Paris Saint-Germain team.
According to previous reports, The ZidaneThe man, who has not been associated with any club since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, has turned down a number of lucrative offers from Paris Saint-Germain.
But the French radio station “RMC” said a few hours ago that Zidane’s situation had changed abruptly because “Jizo” had agreed to the Paris offer of 80%.
It comes after statements by French President Emmanuel Macron in which Zidane expressed his desire to coach Paris, repeating his success as Real Madrid coach with a French club.
Macron had previously admitted his interference in forcing Kylian Mbabane to renew with Saint-Germain, but he refused to talk to Zidane about coaching the Parisian team.
Zidane, 49, did not work as a technical director outside Real Madrid, where he coached his reserve team between 2014 and 2016, while he was in charge of the first team twice, the first team between 2016 and 2018, and the second until 2021.
During these two periods, Jiso led Real Madrid to 11 consecutive titles, winning 3 consecutive titles in the European Champions League (2016-2018).
Zidane has long dreamed of coaching the French national team, which has been confirmed by many close to him, especially after Real Madrid captain Florentino Perez left “Zizou” last year.
Also, Didier Deschamps, the current coach of the French national team, has previously said that Zidane will be the most suitable person after him in “Roosters” training.
