The meeting between Algeria and Ivory Coast has been renewed since the last edition of the Continental Championship, after a 1-1 draw in the quarterfinals to win Mahrez’s teammates on penalties knowing that the only team unbeaten by the current champions is the latter.

The FIFA International Federation of Sports classifies matches officially drawn by penalty shootouts, knowing that Algeria only need a penalty shootout situation to qualify for the title. Tunisia play in Group F with Mali, Mauritania and Gambia.

The African Football Confederation (CAF) has postponed the June 25 draw due to logistics issues related to the “Covit-19” virus, as it has postponed the outbreak championship to 2021. It will take place from January 9 to February 6, 2022.

The 24 teams participating in the finals were divided into six groups, with the first and second qualifying directly for the second round, with the top four teams placing third in six groups.

Group B: Senegal, Zimbabwe, Guinea and Malawi
