The most prominent Arab players expected to shine in the Asian Cup finals. Get to know them

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — All eyes are on several Arab players at the Asian Cup finals in Qatar between January and February 2024, as they are expected to lead their national teams and shine in the tournament. Positive to achieve results.

Salem Al-Dosari

As he is one of the top scorers with the “green” team, Saudi fans trust him.

The 32-year-old plays as a winger for Al Hilal Club. He has played 78 international matches and scored 22 goals.

Ali Mabkaut

He is considered the third highest goalscorer in the Yellow Continent Championship with 9 goals and he has previously led the UAE national team to far places.

At the age of 33, he was active as a striker for Al-Hazira club and has scored 84 goals in 113 international matches.

Akram Afif

He led the Qatar national team to the title in 2019, providing 10 assists, making him the top goalscorer during an edition.

He is 27 years old. He plays as a winger for Al-Saad Club and has scored 25 goals in 92 international matches.

Omar Garbin

The hope of the Syrian fans is that the “Nusur Ghazion” team will advance to the second round for the first time in its history.

At the age of 29, he became a striker with Emirati club Al Wahda and has scored 21 goals in 55 international matches.

Uday Al Tabaq

He carries the hopes of the Palestine team and has previously excelled strongly in the qualifiers for the tournament's finals.

Musa al-Tamari

Ali Al Hammadi

He spent almost two years with the Iraqi national team, becoming one of the key elements in the formation of the team.

He is 21. He plays as a striker for English club Wimbledon and has scored 3 goals in 11 international matches.

Camille Black

He was one of the most important players in the Bahrain national team as he made 86 international appearances during which he scored 12 goals.

Average Al-Maidan (29 years old) plays for Al-Rifa Club.

Mustafa Mather

The Lebanese goalkeeper has kept clean sheets more than once for his country.

The 28-year-old has made 18 international appearances and is active in the ranks of the Al-Ahed club.

Jameel al-Yahmadi

Al Yahmati has come to the forefront of Omani football in recent years, playing 50 international matches in which he scored 3 goals.

Media Al-Maidaan (27 years old) plays for Qatari club Al-Qaraitiyat.
