The league, which starts on November 22, will be held in two phases by the Region League, with 16 teams taking part in the first phase.

The teams that finish in the top three in Riyadh and Jeddah and first and second in Dammam will qualify for the Kingdom Finals Championship to be held in a competitive knockout format at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah early next year. .

For his part, Yasser bin Hassan al-Mishal, chairman of the Saudi Federation of Directors, pointed out that the announcement was an important moment in the federation’s march, pointing to the launch of the first official league in the kingdom.
