NASA will send your name around the moon

The ultimate goal of the Artemis project, 53 years later, is to send humans back to the moon by 2025, the last manned mission to the moon, Apollo 17. In Greek mythology, Artemis was the twin sister of Apollo and the god of the moon.

As part of the project, NASA plans to land the first woman and first person on the moon, work with international and business partners to build a long-term human presence there, and use those lessons to take astronauts to Mars.

NASA has previously called the names 11 million names by 2020, just like the one installed on the Mars Perseverance rover that will continue to orbit Mars.
