The Liverpool star fired at Salah after his message to Real Madrid

Former Germany Liverpool star Dieter Haman has confirmed to Real Madrid that he was not impressed by Egyptian international Mohamed Salah’s message that he should “remain calm” until the end of the match.

After Real Madrid beat Manchester City to set a date with Liverpool in the Champions League final in the French capital Paris, Mohamed Salah posted a tweet on the social networking site Twitter through his official account.

Following Real Madrid’s victory over City, Mohamed Salah sent a warning to Spanish giants on Twitter, according to the Liverpool Echo website. “We have an account and it should be liquidated,” he wrote.

Haman, a former Liverpool star, said he was “not a big fan” of Mohamed Salah’s tweet targeting Real Madrid.

The Reds will face the Spanish giants in the Champions League final at the State de France in Paris on Saturday, May 28 at 9pm. Liverpool beat Villarreal in the semi-finals before Real Madrid scored a dramatic victory over Manchester City.

Regarding his comments on Mohamed Salah’s tweet, Haman criticized the Egyptian striker and believed he should “keep quiet” until the end of the match.

“I saw the tweet, I’m not a big fan of it, I have to say,” Haman told Sky Sports News. He added, “I do not know what happened that day (2018 final) and whether Ramos’ intention hurt him (Salah).”

“Yes, he pulled it off. Unfortunately, Salah had to step back, but it took one or two goalkeeper mistakes for Liverpool to play in favor of Madrid in that match.”

He concluded: “I always like when players are quiet, they can talk after a match, but I can understand why Mohamed Salah wrote this. After the Villarreal game, he said he wanted to play for Real Madrid more than Manchester City, he now has them, and We hope he is in a clear mind.

Dietmer Haman, one of Liverpool FC’s greats, played for him from 1999 to 2006 and won the Champions League with him in the famous Istanbul Final against AC Milan in 2005.
