Sfumato Revives the Power Lunch Tradition with Its New Business Lunch

Sfumato, the modern culinary atelier located in the iconic Opus Tower, Business Bay, is reviving the classic power lunch with a new business lunch menu tailored to the city’s fast-paced lifestyle. Designed as a quick yet satisfying mid-day experience, the menu offers a seamless two- or three-course meal that delivers on both flavour and finesse.

Inspired by the metropolitan power lunches that once defined urban dining scenes – where business leaders, creatives, and entrepreneurs forged connections over midday meals – Sfumato reinterprets the concept for Dubai. The restaurant offers a setting where work and dining come together, serving well-crafted dishes designed to foster conversation without slowing down the day.

Starters showcase fresh and vibrant flavours. The Mediterranean Quinoa Salad combines cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, and creamy feta for a light yet satisfying start. For those seeking something more indulgent, the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad layers tender chicken with Napa cabbage and edamame for added crunch and depth. Seafood lovers can enjoy the Tuna Tartare, complemented by mango and ponzu for a sweet-and-sour freshness.

The main courses bring a sense of comfort. The Chicken Schnitzel, golden and crisp, is paired with a tangy potato salad, offering a European classic with a modern twist. The Pan-Seared Seabass is served with a silky leek velouté and buttery mashed potato – refined yet familiar. For heartier appetites, the Grilled Striploin with roasted potato, asparagus, and mushroom sauce delivers the timeless flavour of a true lunch favourite.

Desserts round off the meal on a high note. The Sour Cherry Pie with vanilla ice cream is a nostalgic treat, while the house-made sorbets offer a lighter, refreshing finish for the afternoon.

Crafted by Chefs Jince Joseph and Maria Chornohrytska, the menu reflects Sfumato’s philosophy of offering refined yet approachable dishes that fit seamlessly into the flow of the day.

Guests can choose between two courses for AED 135 or three courses for AED 155, available on weekdays from 12 PM to 4 PM.
