Heroes of Hope Athletes Help Complete Earth Lounge Mural Ahead of DP World Tour Championship

Young athletes from Heroes of Hope, the UAE non-profit sports academy supporting people of determination, have contributed to a colourful new mural at the DP World Tour Championship, adding artistic flair to the Earth Lounge at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Before the tournament tees off on Thursday, athletes Noah Evans, Thomas O’Brien and Marwan Al Khaja joined forces with UAE-based abstract artist Rabab Tantawy to apply the final details to the mural, which now brightens the outer façade of the Earth Lounge beside the 16th green.

Tantawy, recognised for merging classic approaches such as oil painting with modern styles including spray art, has refreshed the visual identity of the Earth Lounge as the DP World Tour Championship prepares to determine its 2025 winner from 13–16 November.

The collaborative painting session held special meaning for the young athletes, who have been learning the game at the Tommy Fleetwood Academy through a partnership between the DP World Tour and Heroes of Hope, aimed at increasing access for people of determination to golf both on course and within the wider community.

This week, the Heroes of Hope golfers will take part in a final coaching session delivered by one of the top players competing in the Race to Dubai, providing an inspiring end to their training while they enjoy the live championship setting at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
