Gulf Craft, the UAE-based global yacht and boat manufacturer, has received top honours in the Manufacturing Category at the Emirates Labour Market Award 2025. The award, presented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, was handed out during the ceremony in Abu Dhabi on 13th November. The event commended organisations that demonstrate excellence in workforce practices and contribute meaningfully to enhancing the country’s labour market.

This marks the first time Gulf Craft has been recognised at this distinguished national platform, which evaluates companies across the Emirates for leadership in employment quality, staff welfare, and forward-thinking initiatives. Selected from nearly 18,000 participating companies, the award represents a landmark achievement in Gulf Craft’s more than forty-year journey of industrial leadership and investment in people.

The Emirates Labour Market Award highlights organisations that excel in employment empowerment, work environment enhancement, workforce wellbeing, and future-focused innovation. Its criteria cover Emiratisation progress, staff development, diversity and inclusion, safety measures, and technology-driven competitiveness – all areas in which Gulf Craft has consistently demonstrated strong performance.

Yousuf Alshaali, Office Manager of the Chairman, who accepted the honour on behalf of the company, stated:
“This recognition reflects the environment we create for our employees. We strive to be an employer of choice, and it is the dedication of our management board that ensures a supportive, positive, and forward-looking workplace for everyone at Gulf Craft, across corporate teams and on the factory floor. The award underscores our ongoing commitment to our workforce’s wellbeing, empowerment, cultural diversity and professional growth, which remain at the heart of our success.”

The organisation’s guiding principle follows the longstanding vision of its Chairman, Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, who frequently reminds the team:
“Take care of your people, and your people will take care of you.”

As an Emirati manufacturer, Gulf Craft’s recognition in the Manufacturing Category reflects the country’s values of craftsmanship, innovation, and respect for people. The achievement reaffirms the company’s dedication to fostering a safe, inclusive, and progressive workplace that supports both individual and corporate advancement, echoing the UAE’s ambition to build a globally competitive and human-centred employment ecosystem.
