Dubai Week aims to be accurate in everything it publishes. When we get something wrong, we put it right quickly and say so.
How to report an error
Email editor@dubaiweek.ae with the address of the article, the passage you think is wrong and, where you can, a link to the official source that shows the correct position.
What happens next
- We check every report of an error, the same day where possible.
- If a fact is wrong, we correct the article in place and add a dated correction note at the end explaining what was changed.
- If the error is significant, for example a wrong figure, date, fee or rule that readers may have relied on, we also note the correction at the top of the article.
- Spelling and other minor slips that do not change the meaning are fixed without a note.
- When an official source later changes a rule, fee or date we reported, we update the article and note the date of the change.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled an error, or you wish to complain about something else we have published, email complaints@dubaiweek.ae. We acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and aim to give a full answer within 14 days. Our standards are set out in our editorial policy.
