Dubai authority becomes first cultural organisation in the UAE to receive the certification
Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has received Great Place to Work certification for 2025 from the US-based organisation Great Place to Work. The recognition makes Dubai Culture the first cultural authority in the UAE to achieve this status. The certification reflects sustained efforts to build a professional workplace based on trust, employee wellbeing and shared responsibility.
The Authority achieved strong results across all areas of the independent Great Place to Work assessment, which uses a research-based approach to measure employee experience and engagement. The evaluation recorded high levels of staff confidence, teamwork and organisational pride. It also highlighted effective internal communication, a balanced working environment, service standards and a clear focus on occupational health and safety. These results placed Dubai Culture among leading workplaces in the UAE.
Mansoor Lootah, CEO of the Corporate Enablement Sector and Chief AI Officer at Dubai Culture, said the recognition reflects the Authority’s ongoing focus on its people and their development. He said: “This certification marks an important milestone in our journey towards excellence and reinforces our competitiveness within the local landscape. We will continue to develop our departments and shape a setting that remains motivating and forward-looking.”
He added: “This aligns with Dubai’s aspirations and the vision of our wise leadership, which has long emphasised the value of nurturing local talent and expanding opportunities for their growth, encouraging them to work together towards shared success.” He also noted that the certification reflects long-term efforts to create a work environment that supports employee wellbeing and professional growth.
Mohammed Obaid Al Marri, Director of the Human Resources Department at Dubai Culture, said the certification reflects consistent work to strengthen organisational culture and support staff. “This certification demonstrates our progress in adopting effective HR practices and cultivating a workplace where ideas, creativity, and professional development are encouraged. It also affirms the confidence our teams place in the systems and structures that guide our daily operations.” He added that the achievement reflects collective effort and trust in transparent internal processes.
