AnTuTu: Discover the 10 Most Powerful Android Smartphones in February 2023

Date:

Like every month, AnTuTu has released the top 10 most powerful smartphones of the moment. Several smartphones hit global charts in February.

The Android smartphone market was turned upside down earlier this year by the arrival of several new high-end models, most of which are powered by Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Unsurprisingly, all these models topped AnTuTu’s new rankings for the month of February 2023.

First up is the Red Magic 8 Pro +, currently the only gaming smartphone with the latest Qualcomm chip. The device managed to score 1,304,235 points in the benchmark, making it the most powerful device in the market outside of China. As a reminder, the Red Magic 8 Pro+ is a true breakthrough for the company as it relies not only on performance but also on design to ensure an optimal experience for gamers. As you can see above, its screen is one of the deepest smartphone screens ever, thanks to ultra-thin bezels.

In second place is the Vivo X90 Pro +, with 1,280,652 points. This smartphone is an improved version of the Vivo X90 Pro, which we were able to test recently, especially in the photography area. This platform is complemented by the iQOO 11, manufactured by Vivo.

After that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, S23 + and S23 phones are in the fourth, fifth and sixth positions. The latter benefits from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 “For Galaxy” processor, which is more powerful than other smartphones, the main core is clocked at 3.36 GHz, but this does not allow it to take the first place in the ranking. The Ultra model is more powerful than the Classic model, thanks to improved cooling inside.

At number seven in the ranking, we see the arrival of the OnePlus 11, which we expected to be slightly higher in the ranking due to its 16 RAM. Rounding out the top 10 are older smartphones, ASUS ROG Phone 6D, Xiaomi 12T Pro and Redmi K50 Ultra.

In March, several new devices including the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro or the Honor Magic 5 Pro should top the charts. As a reminder, the latter caused a sensation when it was launched at the MWC event, as it took first place among DXOMARK experts in photography and its screen. However, the latter is only priced at $1,099, much less than its main competitors.

Which are the best performing mid-range smartphones?

Apart from high-end smartphones, AnTuTu also shared 10 most powerful mid-range models. The ranking is dominated by another smartphone from vivo, the IQOO Neo7. The latter is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip, which is quite capable in this segment. This allows it to reach 854,527 points in the benchmark, under some high-end models of 2022.
