Emirates Airlines booked more than 430,000 passengers between October 14 and 28 to spend their holidays in Dubai at Emirates and visit Expo 2020 Dubai, according to bookings. Dubai International Airport is set to handle more than 190,000 passengers through Terminal 3, the company said in a statement yesterday, adding that traffic will peak on Friday, especially in the early hours of the morning. Emirates Airlines invites its customers to check their travel needs for their destinations and ensure that all required documents are ready to be submitted upon completion of travel procedures and to arrive at the airport at least four hours in advance. Flight departure time. Passengers were advised to calculate extra time to avoid expected delays due to heavy traffic on the roads leading to Dubai Airport (Terminal 3).

Complete the procedures

The carrier stressed the need to complete travel procedures at the airport three hours before departure time, counters should be closed one hour prior to each travel time, and ensure timely departure of flights that late passengers will not be accepted.

It also pointed out that customers can complete their travel procedures online within 90 to 90 hours of flight departure time. They also have to visit the check-in counters at the airport to get the boarding pass and check the required documents for each location.

Easy options

Emirates Airlines offers its customers easy options to reduce waiting hours at “counters” and benefit from a more convenient airport experience by providing check-in and bagging using self-service “kiosks”.

Finally, the carrier added six self-service kiosks to check-in and drop packs in business and first-class areas, in addition to 24 kiosks for economy class passengers.

This service is available to travelers to all destinations except USA, Canada, China, India and Hong Kong due to the additional requirements of these countries.

Biometric path

Emirates travelers can use the biometric route, which provides smoother, contact-free transportation at Dubai International Airport (Terminal 3) as it reduces fast route document verification processes and reduces queue waiting time.

Customers have the option to complete immigration procedures using the latest biometric technology based on facial recognition through boarding gates and smart tunnel.

Boarding Gates

After completing travel procedures, passengers are advised to be at the boarding gates 45 minutes before departure time as the doors will close 20 minutes before the scheduled time. Delayed passengers will not be accepted to ensure timely departure of flights.

Today the airline is preparing for a new peak in the number of passengers.
