From Bucharest to Jumeirah, the Romanian concept marks a milestone built on signature recipes, giant burgers and a hands-on owner

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 12 October 2026 – Bossman’s Burgr Factory is celebrating its fifth anniversary in the UAE, marking five years of bringing its larger-than-life burgers and distinctive personality to Dubai. Located at 594 on the Jumeirah Beach Road in Umm Suqeim 1, the restaurant has become a hidden gem for diners seeking generous portions, premium ingredients and recipes created by owner Alin Ciobanu, better known as Bossman.

With five branches in Bucharest, the Romanian brand chose Dubai for its first international location. The move was encouraged by people who had discovered Bossman’s burgers online and urged him to bring the concept to the city. Teaser advertising launched from Romania helped introduce the brand to its future Dubai audience before the doors opened.

For Alin, Dubai also represented a stepping stone towards a wider ambition: taking Bossman’s to the United States. Its international community and position as a global hub made the city a natural place to begin that journey.

The decision to settle in Jumeirah came with an unexpected moment of inspiration. While visiting the premises with his brother, Alin noticed a sign left behind by the previous occupant, a fine dining restaurant: “IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SIGN, THIS IS IT.” He kept it, and it remains at the restaurant today as a reminder of where the Dubai story began.

“When people started asking us to bring Bossman’s to Dubai, I saw an opportunity to share something I had built with real passion,” said Alin Ciobanu, owner of Bossman’s Burgr Factory. “Then my brother and I walked into this location and saw that sign. It felt like the answer we were looking for. Five years later, what means the most to me is seeing people come back, bring their friends and enjoy the food. Every recipe has my personal touch, and that will always be at the heart of Bossman’s as we look towards the next chapter.”

The menu reflects that personal approach. Bossman’s uses premium Wagyu and Angus cuts for its burgers, with Alin marinating the meat himself daily. From the buns and sauces to the fried chicken, the restaurant’s offering is built around his own recipes, giving its giant burgers a character that extends beyond their size.

Bossman’s Burgr Factory is located at 594 Jumeirah Beach Road, Umm Suqeim 1, Dubai, and is open daily from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. The restaurant welcomes walk-in guests, with no reservation required.
