Emirates Glass, a leading regional glass processing company and a subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC, has signed a five-year Manufacturing and Distribution Agreement with Australia-based ClearVue Technologies Limited (ASX:CPV) to introduce next-generation solar glazing solutions to the UAE and wider GCC market. Production under the agreement is expected to begin later this year.

The partnership enables Emirates Glass to locally manufacture ClearVue’s innovative solar-integrated glass technology, which generates electricity from sunlight while maintaining optical clarity and delivering high-performance insulation. In addition, Emirates Glass will hold non-exclusive distribution rights for the UAE and across the GCC, supporting growing regional demand for sustainable building materials tailored to sun-rich environments.

This collaboration highlights the increasing market appetite for renewable energy solutions seamlessly embedded into construction materials. ClearVue’s technology offers solar glazing, spandrel, and cladding solutions designed for diverse applications, including commercial, residential, and institutional developments. Its versatility makes it suitable for façades, skylights, windows, canopies, and even greenhouses, combining functionality, energy efficiency, and design flexibility.

ClearVue’s Integrated Solar Façade enhances on-site renewable energy generation by converting sunlight directly into electricity, helping reduce reliance on traditional energy sources. It also optimises natural lighting and thermal performance, making it particularly well-suited to the UAE’s climate. Moreover, ClearVue’s solar façade solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly with standard curtainwall and framing systems while meeting stringent fire safety standards required for high-rise buildings.

Rizwanulla Khan, Executive President of Emirates Glass, said:

“We are excited to partner with ClearVue and introduce this innovative technology to our customers across the region. As the construction sector continues to evolve, the need for energy-efficient, high-performance building materials is more urgent than ever. This collaboration aligns with our commitment to sustainable innovation and reinforces our position at the forefront of the regional glass industry.”

Doug Hunt, Global CEO of ClearVue Technologies, added:

“Emirates Glass is a recognised leader in the Middle East’s glass manufacturing sector, and we are pleased to collaborate with them as we expand our global footprint. The UAE and GCC are ideal markets for our solar facade solutions, given the region’s focus on sustainability and abundance of sunlight.”

The partnership supports the UAE’s sustainability ambitions, including the Net Zero by 2050 strategic initiative, and further positions Emirates Glass and Dubai Investments as key drivers at the intersection of industrial innovation and environmental responsibility.
