ROME, May 20 / WAM / Speaking at the 18th Session of the International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale, UAE National Pavilion 2023 Exhibition Curator Faisal Tabara said that the Venice Biennale is one of the most important art and architecture exhibitions in the world. , in which artistic aspirations are presented to receive feedback and develop ideas. During the twelfth exhibition of the UAE National Pavilion at the Venice Biennale for Art and Architecture and the fifth participation in the International Architecture Exhibition, Dabara touched. What he and his team did to develop the concept of the pavilion and the period of preparing the exhibition “Baron Plenty”.

He said the main purpose of Baran Mukthi is to present an architectural challenge and to challenge the relationship between technology and how it integrates with historical forest practices.

Dabbara pointed out that the entire exhibition aims to encourage critical thinking, validation and answering issues and questions by learning from the historical practices of the UAE.

Dabbara sparked a discussion on maximizing the potential of natural resources. He said: “We clarified the concept of building in drought by asking the following questions: What historical building practices exist in places like the UAE? What materials do drylands provide us? What lessons has the Emirates learned for places that will face drought in the future? What architectural conditions are possible if they are reimagined as fertile spaces?
