During the meeting, they discussed the existing parliamentary friendly and cooperative relations between the two councils and ways to enhance the communication, coordination, consultation and exchange of ideas between the two countries. Two pages.

Considering that parliamentary relations are a major impetus for the development and improvement of bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, His Excellency Sakar Kobaş emphasized the interest of the Federal National Council to strengthen parliamentary relations with the Turkish Parliament. Bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Turkey and the desire of the governments of both countries to advance relations towards broader and broader horizons and joint work to achieve the aspirations of both friendly countries.

At the end of 2023, the United Arab Emirates will host the twenty-eighth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), considered the largest international climate action conference. An effort to unify global efforts to limit the consequences of climate change, which will improve environmental protection, achieve sustainable economic growth and human resource development.

His Excellency Sakr Kobash invited His Excellency Numan Kurtulmus to visit the Emirates to participate in a parliamentary conference held on the sidelines of the proceedings of the twenty-eighth session of the United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change. (COP28)

For his part, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, His Excellency Numan Kurtulmus, emphasized the interest of the Turkish Parliament to maintain constant contact with the Federal National Council by holding more meetings and gatherings and working with friendly groups and special committees. Parliamentary visits and meetings should be intensified in the interests of both sides.

He pointed out that Turkish-UAE relations are witnessing great growth and development, stressing his country’s interest in building special relations with the UAE.

His Excellency extended an official invitation to His Excellency Sakr Kobaş to visit the Republic of Turkey at the head of a parliamentary delegation.
