As a reminder, the Emirati law requiring drinkers to have a license has been repealed. Also, drinking alcohol is no longer considered a crime.

If you want to buy or own wine in Dubai you will still need a license

You must be a non-Muslim and over 21 years of age. To get a license, all you have to do is go to one of your Emirates ID, Africa-East or MMI stores and apply for it. Employees will take care of this, but it usually takes up to 4 weeks to get a license, and AED 270 costs.

Tourists who want to buy liquor in Dubai will also have to apply for a license, but this will be a limited license for 30 days at a time. This will be issued when the passport is issued, but not for visa holders residing in the Emirates. Once you get your license, you can buy wine at the store. You can order online Centaurus Without the need for a license.
