Google Home Apps gets the much-needed redesign with the interactive buttons

Google Home Apps has got a new design that will be even more intuitive, a report says 9to5Google. The upcoming 2.49 update will allow you to interact with your devices from a single screen Device control panel On phones running Android 11 and above.

Determined by update Post notes in the App StoreGoogle hopes to make the app more user-friendly than it is now, saying it will “help you quickly find what you are looking for, dim the compatible lights and change the volume of music on the popup”. More specifically, you can tap it to turn the device on or off, swipe left or right on some items such as lights or speakers to adjust the brightness and volume, and long press on the device to see more options.

Google Home received another major design change In 2018 – and beyond Add controls to change the color of your lights – But it has been mostly that way ever since. We left this with high quality apps that make us use every device to make some changes (like turning some of the controls on or off with a single click).

Google says the redesign will be released “in the next few weeks”, even on iOS or the latest version of the app. Android It will not be enough to see the changes.
