In Abu Dhabi, “Al-Maddah Refreshment” was closed due to health risks

Date:

Abu Dhabi’s Agriculture and Food Safety Authority has decided to administratively close the “Al Madat Refreshments” facility on Al Salam Street in Abu Dhabi on the grounds that it violates EU Food and Law 2008 (2) of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as well as its risk to public health.

The Food Control Report explained that the Food Control Report stated that the administrative closure was the result of failure to enforce food safety requirements, including keeping cooked and ready-to-eat food at an inappropriate temperature and low level of equipment cleanliness. Exposed used, ready-to-eat foods, poor cleanliness of the floor in the product area, in addition to many violations.

Although the facility was subsequently inspected, it did not respond to observers’ observations regarding food hygiene and safety requirements. Investigators issued three violations and warned of administrative closure, but they did not adjust their terms and complete the observations made against them.

The Commission confirmed that the administrative closure order will remain in force until the violation conditions are corrected and all requirements are met to ensure food and health and safety.

He said that within the framework of research efforts aimed at strengthening the food security system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, management closure results and detection of observed malpractices, and ensuring the oversight role to ensure that all companies adhere to food safety. Explains that requirements are reviewed from time to time by the Commission’s inspectors to ensure that all companies of various natural and food products comply with food safety requirements.
