Marine Le Pen, the French right-wing presidential candidate, has been accused by people close to him of embezzling about 600,000 euros from European public funds during his time in the European Parliament.

According to a new report by the French media site “Mediabar”, “Al-Sabbat”, the European Anti-Fraud Office released the indictment and forwarded it to the French judiciary.

The Paris Attorney General’s Office confirmed that it received the report on March 11, which is being analyzed.

Le Pen’s attorney, Rudolf Boslow, said he was “surprised” by the timing and “exploitation” of the report.

He emphasized that the letter was not a signal of a formal antitrust inquiry into the allegations, but rather a signal of a formal antitrust inquiry into the allegations.

He added that Le Pen “had not been summoned by any French judicial officer” and criticized the failure to send the final report to him or Le Pen.

According to him, the European Anti-Fraud Office investigation has been open since 2016 and Le Pen was interrogated by mail in March 2021.

A new report by the European Anti-Fraud Office, released by MediaBar, states that members of political groups may use MEPs in the framework of their mandate and that Marine Le Pen and his associates may have used them. For national political purposes or personal expenses or other services.
