Actress Nelly Karim
He told Al-Arabiya.net that he was going to reject the series due to fear of the Saidian dialect.
Medat al-Adl described her as a “performer” who surprised her audience in every season or every work she presented. Each character is different from those presented before, and their roles cannot be completely identical. It can be presented in all roles: Khojaya and Upper Egypt. She is one of the most talented and humble artists in the Arab world, both in front of and behind the camera. This year, Nelly Karim appeared to her audience in the Ramadan race through the character “Nadra” in the series. “Natra’s Coin”, Sayidi confirmed her happiness by participating in the series.
In his interview with Al-Arabiya.net, he said: “I always enjoy looking at Upper Egyptian works, especially works that highlight the heritage of Upper Egypt. In my view, anyone who has not been to Upper Egypt has not seen Egypt. When I went to Upper Egypt, I saw the Nile River. Amazed by the charm and the people, every time I visit it, I imagine that a story can be presented inside each house, behind each door, to the public.

* Are you really afraid to participate in this work?
** Yes, indeed, when I read the script, had read the details of the events and the dialect, I could not hide the fear at the beginning, I thought of apologizing for the series, and I hesitated for a long time, the dialect is very difficult, especially Upper Egypt has more than one dialect. has, and every hamlet or town has its own dialect, and here there is confusion. When we had several working sessions with producer Jamal Al-Adl and writer Jamal Al-Adl and Mando, they worked convincingly for me, especially Mando Al-Adl helped me in every way.
* How were your preparations for the “Nadra” character?
** We had intensive work sessions on the script in the presence of Medath El-Adl and director Mando El-Adl. I had work sessions and workshops with dialect editor Abdelnabi El-Hawari, who gave me lessons for two years. Master the dialect separately for several months. Actually, I was afraid of the Upper Egyptian dialect, but with the help of the Upper Egyptian dialect editor, I was able to overcome my fear because he loves the tradition of Upper Egypt and has great experience and expertise in it. , customs and traditions. And he asked me to hear his voice in the Saidian dialect, and besides some other preparation from seeing the said works, it made a difference to me, which, had it not been for him, I would not have enjoyed. The work and the spoken dialect and its genuine tone, in addition to the confidence or ease with which I dealt with the task force.
*Have you seen any works in Upper Egypt?
** I always enjoy watching the Upper Egypt series, especially “The Stray Light” series, it’s a great piece of work and I never get tired of showing it every time, but I’m not influenced by any other Upper Egyptian character. During preparations for the role. A “Natira” character is quite different from the characters presented in works dealing with Upper Egypt. He suffered the discrimination and deprivation that beset women in Upper Egypt, preventing them from inheriting their land and receiving money in return, and those who violated this custom were considered outside the customs and traditions. Against religion.
*”Rare Coin” is the third creation “Manto Justice”..no?
** Actually, this is the third work in the series after “For High Price” and “Faton Amal Harbi”. I have a lot of faith in director Mando Al-Adl and we have an understanding and trust. The fact is that he is one of the nicest personalities to deal with and has different artistic visions, details and different ideas, which is why we presented so many works together. And “A rare coin” is the third fruitful collaboration between us, he has stood by me throughout the work of this series, from the beginning of production till now, and I hope this work will be a great success. The previous two works.

* This series brings you and Medat El-Adl together for the second time.. right?
** This is also true, I had the pleasure of collaborating with him through the series “For a high price” because it was one of the famous works shown in 2017 and he is one of those who know the value. The artwork and presents projects with artistic and dramatic weight at the highest level, and we have great faith and sympathy, ideas, he has a lot of ideas, and he dives into the seas of Upper Egypt in a great way, and that is why the “Natra Coin” series has relationships of trust and success between us. One of the strengthening works.
* As usual you are presenting a different strong female character in the series.. Tell me about it
** I love portraying the personalities of strong women and director Mando Al-Adl always gives strong women their due, highlights their personality and presents them in a completely different way.

* This work brings you together for the first time with several artists including Ahmed Eid, Jamal Sulaiman and Kamal Abu Ray?
** I really enjoyed working with Ahmed Eid as he is one of the good actors and a decent and decent person on a human level and he is one of the most important good elements of the series, especially him. He is one of the most hard working and sincere actors in this industry. As for Jamal Sulaiman, there are many difficult scenes that bring us together, and he has great experience with Al-Saidi, and I learned a lot from Kamal Abu Rayya.
What new works will be shown after Ramadan?
** I have recently completed two serials, one of which is “Rose and Laila” which is scheduled to be shown on “Shahid” stage and it is co-starring star Yuzra and I have it for her. Love and power, and the work is very good and very interesting experience. Apart from international director Adrian Shergold, the work includes the presence of many fine artists.
The other work is “Why not”, the third part, directed by Nadine Khan, and it is scheduled to be shown in the coming years, and also stars Sala Abdullah, Aida Riad, Ahmad Tariq, Modas Hisham and others.
