Partnership focuses on the development of HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health in Abu Dhabi
Olive Rock Partners (ORP), a healthcare investor focused on growth in the Gulf, has entered into a strategic partnership with Cedro Strategy, a healthcare advisory and transformation firm. The collaboration aims to support the expansion and development of HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health Abu Dhabi and strengthen its clinical and operational foundations in the UAE capital.
The partnership follows a strategic restructuring announced earlier this year between Olive Rock Partners and global healthcare group M42. Under that agreement, ORP took full ownership of HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health Abu Dhabi, creating a clear platform for focused investment and service development in fertility care across the UAE.
This work supports Abu Dhabi’s goal to position itself as a global centre for reproductive medicine and aligns with the Department of Health’s focus on attracting specialist expertise, advanced medical systems, and sustained innovation. HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health is expected to play a key role in this effort by delivering strong clinical results, high standards of care, and a patient pathway that supports the UAE’s position in fertility tourism.

Commenting on the partnership, Abdullah Shahin, Founding Partner at Olive Rock Partners, said: “HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health represents a unique opportunity to build a next-generation fertility and women’s health platform for Abu Dhabi and the broader region. As we embark on this new chapter, our work with Cedro Strategy reflects our shared commitment to disciplined execution and long-term value creation. Our vision is fully aligned with Abu Dhabi’s ambition to attract world-class capabilities in fertility care, and we look forward to unlocking the full potential of this platform.”

Rayan Salam, Founder & CEO of Cedro Strategy, added: “We are pleased to partner with Olive Rock Partners at this important moment. Our focus is on building a differentiated platform that delivers superior clinical outcomes, an elevated patient journey, and a future-ready model for fertility and women’s health. We are introducing advanced technologies, modern digital capabilities, and world-class talent to ensure that HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health delivers some of the most advanced fertility services available anywhere in the world.”
Following the acquisition, a new governance structure has been put in place. As part of this structure, Rayan Salam will act as Chairman of the Board of HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health, with responsibility for strategic direction and oversight of the transformation programme.
Both organisations confirmed that services will continue without interruption during this period. HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health will maintain its full range of treatments, with all clinical and operational teams continuing in their roles. Patients can expect consistent care standards and a smooth experience throughout the transition.
