Paris Saint-Germain fans have reiterated their behavior towards Lionel Messi ahead of the team’s match against Olympique Lyonnais at Parc des Princes in the 29th round of the French league.

Argentine star Lionel Messi, Paris Saint-Germain’s French striker, has become a favorite victim of his team’s fans in recent times, especially after refusing to renew his contract, which expires next summer.

Messi lives in the current era, affected by the crisis that saw Paris Saint-Germain exit the Champions League final last week against Germany’s Bayern Munich.

Messi was booed earlier by Parisian fans during the clash with Rennes, which the visitors won 2-0 in the last round of the French league.

Paris Saint-Germain fans booed Messi before Lyon kicked off, especially when the stadium’s in-field announcer asked him to salute him as he entered the stadium.

The whistles are expected to be decisive for Messi to leave Paris Saint-Germain and return to Barcelona next summer.

This isn’t the first time Paris Saint-Germain fans have booed Messi since last season’s Champions League exit.

This time whistles came from Paris Saint-Germain fans against Messi after he refused to renew his contract, which expires next summer, amid much controversy over his future.
