In 2021, WhatsApp also introduced a built-in payment option for its users, allowing them to send and receive money in their bank accounts through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

WhatsApp Payments makes UPI money transfers available on the messaging app. It retrieves bank account information using the phone number associated with the user’s account. Apart from sending and receiving money, you can check bank account balance, view payment history and report. Paying in a text messaging app.

How to View Payment History on WhatsApp for Android

Open WhatsApp and tap the three-dotted menu button at the top-right corner of the screen.

Select a payment option from the list.

Under history, you can view all your previous transactions on WhatsApp.

How to View Payment History on WhatsApp for iOS

Open WhatsApp and go to Settings tab.

Select payment option.

Next, under the Payment History tab, click the View All option to view all past transactions.
