Investing.com – U.S. stocks fell, and lost, on Friday as indicators were low.

At the end of trading in New York, it lost 0.69%, while it fell 1.30% to 2.18%.

Among the largest stocks of the day, McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE 🙂 was the only stock to rise 2.19%, or 4.87 points, to close at 226.87. Caterpillar Corporation (NYSE :), on the other hand, ended 1.44% or 3.04 points higher at 214.83, while Gas Travelers Corporation (NYSE 🙂 gained 1.07% or 1.84 points to 173.73.

Shares of Nike Inc (NYSE 🙂 traded down 2.70%, or 3.40 points, at 122.63 on the back of weak performance at the close of trading today. Apple Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 fell 2.39% or 3.79 points to 154.73, while JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE 🙂 The stock ended 2.25% or 2.97 points lower at 128.89.

On the other hand, the S&P 500 index was listed by the best performing stocks Epam Systems Inc (NYSE :), up 6.03% to close at 200.14, Lyondell Basel Industries (NYSE 🙂 up 3.70% to close at 103.43, as did Deere & Co. (NYSE 🙂 Shares up 3.00%. The stock closed at 389.48.

Among the stocks with weakest performance today, we refer to the company’s stocks Etsy Inc (NASDAQ :), which fell 11.50% to close its session at 121.23, the stock Generic Holdings (NYSE :), which lost 7.11% to 281.64 shares Align the technology (NASDAQ :), which weakened 6.84% to close at 400.67 in today’s session of the stock market.

On the other hand, the best performer in the Nasdaq index was recorded by shares of TravelWolf Inc. (NASDAQ :), which was up 49.29% at 9.51. Guard AI Co Ltd (NASDAQ 🙂 continued to rise 45.04% and closed at 0.78 levels, as well as the stock Clearsite Biomedical Inc. (NASDAQ 🙂 It rose about 42.59% to trade at 1.92.

Among the worst performers today were Orphazyme Corporation (NASDAQ :), which was down 45.75% at 0.68, Zhongchao Inc (NASDAQ :), which lost 38.24% and traded at 1.05, and Exela Technologies Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 :), which fell 32.68% on the stock market. Today ‘s session ended at 0.57.

The number of declines was higher than the number of shares that traded higher with trading on the New York Stock Exchange at 2336 compared to 869, while 117 remained unchanged. For the Nasdaq stock market, 2704 shares fell and 1122 strengthened its position, while 196 shares retained their value.

Shares of Alline Technology (NASDAQ) fell 52-week lows to 6.84%, or 29.42 points, at 400.67. Shares of Gas Travelers Corporation (NYSE) were at an all-time high of 173.73, up 1.07% or 1.84 points. Orphazyme stock (NASDAQ 🙂 fell to an all-time low of 45.75% or 0.58 points to 0.68. Shares of Zhongchao Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 were down 38.24%, or 0.65 points, to 1.05.

It traded at 1.72%, measuring the indirect fixed variance of options in the S&P 500 index, and closed at 30.75.

Gold futures for April delivery ended 0.41% or 8.15 lower at $ 1,992.25 an ounce. Among other commodities, WTI crude for April delivery rose 3.00% or 3.18 points to $ 109.20 a barrel, while the May contract for Brent oil contracts rose 2.83% or 3.09 points to close at $ 112.42 a barrel.

The EUR / USD pair lost 0.65% to trade at 1.09, while the USD / JPY rose 1.00% to 117.29.

The dollar index traded up 0.62% at 99.11.
