Trump slams ‘election interference’ as ‘judicial travesty’ after release from Georgia prison

Former US President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty Thursday, describing the 2020 Georgia election results as a “judicial travesty.”

She came Trump’s comments to reporters as he left the state after he turned himself in at the Fuden County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia on the charges.

“I did nothing wrong,” Trump said.

The former president has described the allegations leveled against him as a “judicial travesty”.

In his brief conversation with reporters, Trump touched on the other charges against him, saying, “This is one incident, but you have three other facts. It’s election interference.”

Trump stayed in Atlanta for about an hour and a half, according to network reports.CNNBefore he was released on $200,000 bail.

District police, who released Trump’s mugshot, took his measurements according to traditional procedures.

Trump’s prison inmate number is “P01135809,” the network said.

It cited prison documents that said Trump was six feet three inches () and weighed 216 pounds (). He was described as having blue eyes and “blonde or reddish-blonde” hair.

So far, about 12 defendants, including Trump, have surrendered to the government, and Trump has posted bail with ten others, while Harrison Floyd remains in custody.

The remaining seven defendants are due to appear before noon EST on Friday.

Trump is the most likely Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential race.
