Wenger leads the stars of Al Hilal and Al Nasser against Saint-Germain

Date:

The Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadh” reported on Sunday that French Arsene Wenger will coach al-Hilal and al-Nasser’s Saudi stars during the clash with Saint-Germain in Paris for the Riyadh Season Cup.

The former Arsenal coach will return to coaching for the first time since stepping down from the “Gunners” in 2018, knowing he is currently the development director at the International Football Association (FIFA).

Last month, the Saudi Entertainment Commission announced that it was organizing a clash between French Paris Saint-Germain and the stars of the Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr teams, for the Riyadh Cup in the third week of January 2022.

Paris Saint-Germain is expected to attend Riyadh with all its stars, especially the trio of Argentina’s Lionel Messi, Brazilian Neymar and Frenchman Kylian Mbabane.

As part of that, Paris Saint-Germain announced its winter tour to Doha from January 16 to 20, before heading to Saudi Arabia against the Al Hilal and Al Nasr stars.

Saudi Arabia has recently been seeking to host several international sporting events such as the Formula One World Championships, the World Boxing Championships and the Italian and Spanish Super Cups in football.
