Final men’s and women’s professional fields confirmed for the Pro Dubai T100
Dubai, UAE: The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and World Triathlon have officially announced the complete men’s and women’s professional line-ups for the Pro Dubai T100, taking place on Saturday 15 November. The event marks the penultimate round of the 2025 T100 Triathlon World Tour, ahead of the World Championship Final in Qatar this December.
New Zealand’s Hayden Wilde arrives in Dubai with a flawless record in this year’s series, having claimed victories in Singapore, London, the French Riviera, Spain, and Wollongong. His run of success has placed him at the top of the T100 Race To Qatar standings, with just two races remaining.
“Every time I race, I feel like I’m getting back to myself,” said Wilde, who has been working back to top form after suffering a severe bike crash in Japan earlier in the year that resulted in a punctured lung, six broken ribs, and shoulder surgery. “This is one of the best unbeaten streaks I’ve been on as a professional so I just want to keep the momentum going and not give the others even a sniff. Dubai is another great venue for us to race in, which I’m really looking forward to.”
Wilde will face strong competition from Belgium’s Jelle Geens, who sits second in the overall standings following his victory in Vancouver, as well as Germany’s Mika Noodt, currently ranked third.
In the women’s race, Great Britain’s Kate Waugh leads the championship after securing a standout win in Wollongong, adding to her season-opening victory in Singapore. She currently holds a nine-point advantage over compatriot Lucy Charles-Barclay, with both confirmed to race in Dubai in what is expected to be a pivotal meeting ahead of December’s final in Doha.
“I’ve gained huge confidence doing the T100 Tour this year. It’s been so refreshing working with everyone on the T100 team,” said Waugh. “They look after us so well which means I’m enjoying every race and am very happy to have two wins now and have podium-ed at each event I’ve competed in.
“I’m really looking forward to racing in Dubai. I’ve heard great things about the course there and always enjoy visiting the city. I want to build on my win in Wollongong to get as much of a lead as possible going into the final in Qatar.”
