Blind Tiger Unveils The Oriental Circus: An Evening of Storytelling Through Cocktails

Jumeirah Al Naseem’s renowned cocktail bar and speakeasy, Blind Tiger, is set to welcome the new season with the return of The Oriental Circus, an enchanting night of storytelling and live performance. Scheduled for Thursday 16 October from 20:00 to 01:00, the event promises an extraordinary journey where cocktails transcend the glass to take centre stage. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of Eastern circuses, each cocktail is reimagined as a living character, inviting guests to experience their favourites in a whole new dimension.

Merging the art of mixology with immersive theatre, Blind Tiger will transform four of its signature cocktails into circus performers for one unforgettable night. This fusion of craftsmanship and theatre brings the cocktails’ personalities to life, turning flavour into spectacle and technique into performance.

The evening’s charismatic Ring Master will set the tone with flair, embodied by a refined blend of Macallan infused with mango, saffron and fortified grape – a warm yet approachable interpretation of the classic Old Fashioned. The Strongman will showcase strength and boldness, represented by a distinctive Negroni-style creation featuring Campari and the earthy depth of Japanese matcha, crafted with modern distillation methods. The Juggler will charm with playful finesse, captured in a refreshing mix of citrus and grapefruit, served over spherical ice to mirror the performer’s skill. Completing the line-up, the glamorous Tiger Tamer will enthral with its elegance and allure, reflected in Blind Tiger’s own version of a Martini – a bright combination of Sauvignon Blanc, passionfruit and lime, elevated with a sparkling spirit and a passionfruit candy garnish, symbolising the “eye of the tiger”. Each character embodies the essence of its cocktail, weaving storytelling into every sip.

Guests can expect dramatic entrances, intimate performances at their tables, and a cabaret-inspired live set that captures the mystique and charm of a vintage circus. Designed as a sophisticated celebration of creativity and craftsmanship, the evening offers an opportunity to rediscover Blind Tiger’s celebrated cocktails in a truly immersive way.

Celebrated for its luxurious design, vibrant ambience and bold style, Blind Tiger provides the perfect stage for this immersive experience. More than just a bar, The Oriental Circus is a tribute to creativity and imagination, where signature cocktails, captivating entertainment and Jumeirah’s renowned hospitality come together to create an unforgettable night.

Blind Tiger is open daily from 17:00 to 02:00. For reservations or further details, please contact +971 800 323232 or email reservations@jumeirah.com.
