  • Pioneering global water security, ACWA Power delivers 9 million m³/day of desalinated water.

ACWA Power, the world’s largest private water desalination company, a recognised leader in the energy transition and a first mover in green hydrogen, will showcase innovation and green technologies as the principal sponsor of the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) in Dubai, running from 30 September to 2 October 2025.

At WETEX 2025, ACWA Power will underline its proven expertise in innovation, financing and delivering transformative projects that tackle critical global challenges. The company will focus on its strategic approach to navigating the energy quadrilemma: delivering secure, affordable, sustainable and accessible energy and water for communities worldwide.

ACWA Power will highlight its integrated infrastructure solutions, with a particular focus on its global leadership in Water Security & Innovation as the world’s largest private desalination provider. The company will present its cutting-edge technology for delivering clean and affordable water, including major UAE projects. In addition, ACWA Power will demonstrate its achievements in Sustainable Energy & ESG, showcasing its large-scale renewable energy and green hydrogen initiatives that support global decarbonisation and energy security, while contributing to the UAE’s clean energy milestones.

On Tuesday, 30 September, ACWA Power hosted a panel discussion entitled “Navigating the Energy Transition: Innovation, Security, and Sustainable Growth”, moderated by Dr Rusha Al Rawaf, Chief Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer, ACWA Power. The panel featured Thomas Altmann, EVP Innovation and New Technology; Turki Mahrous, Executive Director, BU Construction – Water; and Majed Waffallah, Director – Sustainability & Climate Change, ACWA Power. The discussion examined how innovation, robust security measures and sustainable growth strategies are shaping the global energy transition.

ACWA Power invites all WETEX 2025 participants to visit its stand to discover more about its pioneering projects and forward-looking solutions.
