Amazon makes its first TV with Alexa built-in

Date:

Amazon has built its first Alexa-powered TV into the device, which means you don’t have to buy a separate device to use Alexa’s features.

You can control this TV without using the remote control because you can talk to it and run commands on it.

The move is an evolution of what Amazon, which sells fire TV sticks or cubes, has done before, and they need a TV to work.
He is also collaborating with some TV makers to put his own Fire TV system in it and make it Alexa-compatible.
The Omni Series TV is different from all the devices offered by Amazon because it comes as a complete TV and is not a piece that connects to the TV.
You can control the TV directly with voice commands without the need for any restrictions or without pressing the Alicia buttons.
In the past, you had to press the Alexa button on your remote to execute its voice commands and receive commands.

New Amazon TV features

The Amazon TV comes with a unique design with no invisible edges, and uses the 4K screen in a very slim design.
The TV comes with its own external remote, but you can do without it completely and use Alexa voice commands.

The TV has four microphones for picking up sound, and these microphones are located on the top of the TV and are always ready to pick up your voice.

The company has also tried to keep as many audio capture devices as possible from the speakers so that the voices in the voice assistant are not disturbed and you can hear exactly what you are saying.
To maintain privacy, you can turn off these microphones at any time with the dedicated button at the bottom of the TV.

Alexa can do nothing with voice commands because you can request to switch between different TV stations or broadcast sources.
As a result, you can ask Alexa to switch from Live TV to your Xbox and more.
You can also make some video calls on the TV, where you can connect the external camera via the USB port on the back.
But this camera does not work with regular video chat apps, you only need Alexa apps to make these calls.

Amazon uses good chipsets for TV, which can create colors just as sharp and precise as any other company’s flagship TV.

You can have this as a regular TV without being a smart TV that uses Amazon’s premium voice assistant, and the device is compatible with all Amazon smart home devices.
Disadvantages of Alexa TV

There have been reports that users encountered some issues when talking to Alexa and requesting to run a specific series or content.

Amazon claims that these errors or problems are caused by the way Alexa handles different applications and the way content is archived, and that Alexa is still trying to learn voice commands and run content on the TV accordingly.

But the computer interface on the new Amazon TV is the biggest problem because the interface appears in 1080p, and the whole TV works in 4K resolution.
Amazon justifies this by reducing the accuracy of the system so that it runs better and faster, and users have no problems with this.
Some users also complained about the sudden appearance of ads on the interface while looking at some work.
According to Amazon, this is the TV’s pricing and source of revenue for them, but the price of the TV is considered unacceptable as it approaches $ 1,000.
