Strawberries are a beneficial fruit for our health as they are rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber. They also contain healthy compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to whiten teeth. , according to the “health” website, we learn about the benefits of strawberries for teeth whitening.

What are the benefits of strawberries for teeth whitening?

Strawberries are said to contain a natural whitening agent called malic acid, but the concentration of malic acid in strawberries is relatively low. This means that you need to eat a large number of strawberries to see significant whitening effects on your teeth.

Also, the sugar content in these sweet fruits can be harmful to teeth, especially if you consume them in large quantities. It is recommended to rinse your mouth with water after eating strawberries or rub them on your teeth to remove any remaining sugar or acid on your teeth.

Strawberries may offer some mild whitening benefits, but they should not be relied upon as your primary teeth whitening solution. Emphasize maintaining good oral hygiene habits such as regular brushing and flossing. A dentist can help with teeth cleaning and whitening treatments.

Can strawberries be mixed with other natural whitening products?

Instead of using lots of strawberries, you can use natural ingredients along with them to enhance the teeth whitening effects. Here you can try.

1. Baking soda

If you mix mashed strawberries with a little baking soda, you can make a natural whitening toothpaste.

Baking soda, which is mildly abrasive, can help remove surface stains from teeth.

2. Coconut oil

Coconut oil does more than naturally moisturize your skin and hair. Mix it with mashed strawberries to make a natural teeth whitening mouthwash.

Coconut oil contains lauric acid, which can help reduce plaque build-up and ultimately improve oral health.

What are the natural ways to whiten teeth?

• Rubbing a small amount of sesame oil in your mouth for 10 to 15 minutes can help remove germs and plaque from your teeth, leading to a brighter smile.

• The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar can help remove surface stains from your teeth, but don’t overdo it as it can damage tooth enamel.

• Activated charcoal, a fine black powder, absorbs toxins and helps remove surface stains from teeth.
