Fourteen teams play the first FIBA 3x3 World Tour stop in Dubai on November 6 and 7 at Festival Bay, with free entry and advance registration.
The FIBA 3×3 World Tour makes its first stop in Dubai at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City, on Friday and Saturday, November 6 and 7, with 14 teams playing and free entry for fans who register in advance.
FIBA said fans can attend free of charge, but advance registration is required. Session times are not published.
Friday is given over to the qualifying draw and pool games. Saturday brings the knockout games and the final.
Eleven teams go straight into the Main Draw. The other three, Raudondvaris Hoptrans, Taipei WanBao and Doha, play a qualifying draw, and only the winner advances.
That winner takes the last place in Pool D, completing a 12-team Main Draw split into four pools of three.
Each team plays the other two in its pool, and the top two from each pool reach the quarter-finals. From there the format is single elimination through the semi-finals to Saturday’s final.
Ub top the seedings, followed by Amsterdam RABOBANK and Liman. Baskets Bonn and Skyliners complete the top five.
- Pool A: Ub, Cibona Ph.Classic, Toronto
- Pool B: Amsterdam RABOBANK, Fuengirola, Lausanne
- Pool C: Liman, DeQing, Dubai
- Pool D: Baskets Bonn, Skyliners, qualifying draw winner
Host team Dubai is in Pool C alongside Liman and DeQing. As this is the city’s first World Tour stop, there is no defending champion, and a new winner will be crowned on Saturday.
Strahinja Stojacic, the world No. 1, leads top seed Ub. Worthy de Jong, an Olympic champion who won MVP honours at World Tour Bucharest 2026, headlines Amsterdam RABOBANK.
Andreja Milutinovic is Liman’s perimeter threat, and Fabian Giessmann is a key figure for Baskets Bonn. Stefan Kojic, a long-range shooter, is Skyliners’ main option.
Francis Lacis brings World Cup-winning experience to DeQing. Isaac Mayo helped Fuengirola reach the Bucharest final, and Roko Spaseski is the main attacking threat for Cibona Ph.Classic.
Dubai is the first of four remaining stops, FIBA said in a preview of the run-in.
The others are Zaisan on November 14 and 15, Manama on November 20 and 21 and Hong Kong on November 28 and 29. The World Tour Final is scheduled for December 12 and 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Ub lead the World Tour standings with 775 points, ahead of Amsterdam RABOBANK on 625 and Liman on 535. Ub have won three titles this season, in Chengdu, Marseille and Macau.
The Top 10 in the standings qualify directly for the 14-team Rio final. Raudondvaris, Fuengirola, Toronto and Cibona Ph.Classic are among the teams in Dubai still looking to gain points.
