GFS Developments has announced the launch of Coventry Residence, an affordable housing project in Dubai Industrial City. The development is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2027 and will deliver 163 units, made up of 145 studios and 18 one-bedroom apartments, starting at AED 450,080.

The project is designed to combine cost-effective housing with lifestyle amenities. Coventry Residence will include features such as a rooftop cinema, yoga and meditation centre, landscaped podium gardens, swimming pool, gym, indoor games zone, dedicated children’s play areas, poolside fireplace, barbecue spaces, as well as a multipurpose hall and clubhouse for social activities.

Conveniently positioned in Dubai Industrial City, the development offers strong transport links via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road. The upcoming Metro Express Line will be just seven minutes away, with Dubai Parks accessible in 10 minutes and Al Maktoum International Airport in 15 minutes. The location is targeted at meeting demand from professionals and families seeking well-connected, affordable living options.

“Coventry Residence is not just another project in our portfolio; it represents a strategic investment opportunity in one of Dubai’s fastest-growing communities,” said Michael Collings, General Manager of GFS Developments. “With its competitive pricing, flexible payment plan, and long-term rental potential, this development is designed to appeal equally to end-users and investors seeking strong value and reliable returns.”

The payment structure aims to support accessibility, starting with a 5% booking fee and 15% within the first month. Thereafter, 1% monthly instalments will continue for 60 months, covering both pre- and post-handover periods, with the final 20% payable on completion. Buyers can also benefit from a three-year post-handover plan to ease ownership.

With more than 10 years of presence in the UAE real estate sector, GFS Developments stated that Coventry Residence is aligned with its strategy of focusing on mid-market residential projects that serve both investors and end-users. The company emphasised that the project meets Dubai’s increasing need for accessible home ownership at a time of rising rents.

At the launch ceremony, international star Karol Sevilla commented: “Dubai has always been a symbol of dreams becoming reality, and Coventry Residence captures that same spirit. It’s not only about building apartments, but about creating a vibrant community where people can live, connect, and thrive. I am honoured to be part of this launch and to celebrate a project that brings opportunity and inspiration to so many.”

Combining competitive pricing, flexible payment schemes, lifestyle-focused amenities, and excellent connectivity, Coventry Residence is positioned to attract both local residents and international buyers entering Dubai’s competitive property market.
