Internationally acclaimed British singer and songwriter Sami Yusuf is set to deliver an unforgettable evening of music at the historic Roman Theatre in the heart of Amman on Saturday, 11 October 2025.

This landmark concert will unite history and contemporary artistry, as Yusuf performs exclusive selections from his highly anticipated forthcoming album Ecstasy, alongside reimagined renditions of his most cherished works that have inspired millions worldwide. The evening promises a captivating fusion of tradition and innovation.

Joining Yusuf on stage will be an exceptional line-up of international vocalists and musicians, accompanied by the distinguished Amman Chamber Orchestra and an international choir. Together, they will create a powerful performance celebrating cultural openness and diversity.

Speaking about the event, Sami Yusuf said: “In this historic place at the heart of Amman, we will celebrate the brilliance of living musical traditions. We will enter their joyful worlds, tell their stories, and offer the beauty of their music and our music to this generation and those to come.”

Dr. Abdel Razzaq Arabiyat, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board, expressed Jordan’s pride in hosting this global cultural occasion, stating: “The concert of world star Sami Yusuf at the Roman Theatre in Amman is an exceptional occasion that highlights Jordan’s position as a leading cultural and tourism destination in the region. We are proud to see our ancient heritage meet global music in one event that attracts visitors from across the world. Such initiatives directly contribute to boosting tourism while showcasing the Kingdom’s unique civilizational, cultural, and touristic assets.”

The evening will be more than a musical journey; it will also offer an immersive visual and sensory experience. Produced in collaboration with the Emmy Award-winning sound design company Auditoria and the renowned lighting design firm Woodroffe Bassett, the event promises to transport audiences beyond a traditional concert into an extraordinary realm of artistic wonder.

In keeping with Yusuf’s enduring humanitarian mission, part of the concert’s proceeds will be dedicated to supporting relief efforts in Gaza, lending a profound humanitarian dimension to this special evening.

The Roman Theatre was chosen not only for its historical significance but also as one of Jordan’s most iconic archaeological landmarks, symbolising the connection between the grandeur of the past and the vibrancy of the present.

The concert is expected to attract a diverse audience from across Jordan and abroad. Known for their deep connection to Yusuf’s music and message, his fans have long celebrated the spiritual and humanistic values reflected in his art. On this remarkable night, the Roman Theatre will become a gathering place for thousands of admirers of all ages and backgrounds, united in their love of timeless music and a truly unforgettable shared experience.
