Intersec 2026, the global event for the security, safety and fire protection sectors, will open next week for its 27th edition. The exhibition takes place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council.
The event will run from 12 to 14 January 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s edition will be the largest in Intersec’s history. More than 1,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries are set to attend, along with more than 50,000 trade visitors from around the world.
Strong global demand has led to a major expansion of the exhibition space. The event has grown by nearly 12,000 square metres and now covers 65,000 sqm across several halls and outdoor demo areas. National pavilions from the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Singapore, Sweden, China, Turkey and Korea highlight the scale of international participation. The growth reflects Dubai’s role as a centre for security innovation and emergency readiness.
Intersec 2026 will present new technologies and practical solutions across five main sectors: Homeland Security and Policing, Cybersecurity, Commercial and Perimeter Security, Fire and Rescue, and Health and Safety. These areas show how organisations and governments manage physical, digital and environmental risks.

A key feature of Intersec 2026 is its expanded conference programme. More than 250 speakers will share insight across several platforms. The International Security Leaders’ Summit will return and bring together senior decision makers from national security, infrastructure and crisis management. Topics include AI governance, crisis leadership, human risk and public-private cooperation.
The Fire and Rescue Conference will cover fire prediction, life safety systems and emergency response. Experts from fire services and engineering teams will lead sessions. The Health and Safety Conference will focus on workforce protection, safety behaviour and duty of care in high-risk workplaces.
Cyber topics will feature at the InCyber Briefing. CISOs and risk leaders will discuss AI threats, post-quantum readiness, data control and cyber incident planning. Other specialist theatres include the Access Control Theatre, Control Room Innovation Theatre and the SIRA Forum, which will offer technical and regulatory insight.
Security professionals can also join the IFPO Certified Security Supervision and Management Workshop. The session includes scenario exercises to prepare participants for the final exam and on-the-job use.
Other features include Passive Fire Day and the FCIA–NFCA PFPCON ’26 Dubai. These sessions bring experts together to improve standards and skills in passive fire protection.
Intersec 2026 will also introduce invitation-only Executive Roundtables led by PwC and Kearney. These sessions will bring senior leaders together to discuss major sector challenges.
Visitors can watch live demos and response drills across the show floor. The Intersec Awards 2026 will also take place, recognising excellence in security, fire safety, cybersecurity and HSE.
The event receives support from UAE authorities, including Dubai Civil Defense and the Security Industry Regulatory Agency. This shows strong alignment with national safety goals.
Intersec 2026 will open on Monday, 12 January and close on Wednesday, 14 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
