By GST 2 min read

Global Village opened its 31st season on 14 October 2026 and will stay open until May 2027, according to the Government of Dubai Media Office. The season runs under the theme “A More Wonderful World”, with 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets, more than 250 dining options, 40,000 shows and over 200 attractions.

Tickets and opening hours

The Global Village website lists two entry tickets for the season, both single use and with VAT included:

Ticket Valid Price
Weekday Monday to Thursday, excluding public holidays AED 25
Any Day Any day, including weekends and public holidays AED 30

Children under three, visitors aged 65 and over, and People of Determination with one companion enter free, with ID required. Entry covers the pavilions, street shows, cultural stages and general attractions; ride passes, events and WonderPass attractions are sold separately. Tickets can be bought on the website, through the Global Village app or at the ticket counters at all gates.

The park opens from 4pm to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 4pm to 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays. Tuesdays are reserved for families and ladies, except when they fall on a public holiday.

What is new this season

The Sri Lanka Pavilion and the Russia and Azerbaijan pavilion have been refreshed, and the Syria and Kuwait pavilions have new façades. Visitors can collect stamps in a redesigned Season 31 Passport, and there is a new Kids Passport for children, with stamping stations in every pavilion.

New on the entertainment programme are the stunt show Fast Live 2: The Police Strike Back and two productions, Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist. The show Slam returns, and Care Bears and PJ Masks characters are back at the Kids Theatre. A new roller coaster, Tokyo Rush, is due to open later in the season; no opening date has been given.

New food outlets include Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, with Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking at Restaurant Plaza, and three new cafés: Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café. Global Village has also added a VIP parking self-payment system, more ticket counters at Happiness Gate, extra family washrooms including accessible facilities, and a WhatsApp chatbot for visitor information, according to an earlier Media Office release.

Getting there and parking

Four public bus routes serve Global Village during the season, according to its visitor information page:

  • Bus 102 from CentrePoint Metro Station
  • Bus 103 from Union Metro Station, via Al Rebat Street
  • Bus 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station, via Max Fashion Metro Station
  • Bus 106 from Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, via Al Barsha and Al Quoz

The buses usually run from 3.15pm to 11.15pm daily. Drivers can use the free parking zones P1 and P3, about 400 metres from the Gate of the World entrance, and P5, about 450 metres away. Paid parking costs AED 120 a day, or AED 75 a day in the zone about 350 metres from Happiness Gate. Further free zones open on weekends, public holidays and busy days, with a free shuttle bus to the Cultural Gate.

The park rules ask visitors to dress modestly. Pets are not allowed, and neither are scooters, bicycles, skateboards or hoverboards.
