Ministry of Sound Classical plays re-orchestrated dance tracks at Dubai Opera on 7 November 2026 at 8pm, with tickets from AED 350 to AED 625.
Ministry of Sound Classical, a concert of dance tracks re-orchestrated for a 31-piece orchestra, is on at the Main Auditorium of Dubai Opera on Saturday 7 November 2026. The show starts at 8pm. According to Visit Dubai’s events calendar, tickets range from AED 350 to AED 625.
What is on stage
The concert is presented by Dubai Opera in collaboration with Mac Global. Visit Dubai bills it as a chance to “Relive dance anthems with an orchestral twist”. The Dubai Opera event page says the dance tracks are re-orchestrated and performed by the orchestra alongside vocalists, with a sound and light show.
The programme draws on dance hits from the 1990s and beyond. Tracks named by the venue are:
- Darude, Sandstorm
- Dario G, Sunchyme
- Faithless, Insomnia
- Fatboy Slim, Right Here, Right Now
The venue adds that there are more tracks on the programme. It describes the evening as “This ain’t no DJ set!”, meaning the music is performed by orchestral players rather than a DJ.
About the production
Dubai Opera says Ministry of Sound Classical has sold out the Royal Albert Hall and has headlined festivals including Gone Wild Festival, The Big Feastival and Silverstone Festival. Its name comes from the London dance music brand Ministry of Sound, which the venue links to the house scene of the 1990s.
