His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, as the Ruler of Dubai, has issued Order No. (48) of the Free Zones Council 2021 in the Emirate of Dubai. Sheikh Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The order states that the Council should include its members: General Secretary of the Free Zones Council in the Emirate of Dubai, Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Association, Director General of the Municipality of Dubai, Director General of the State Security Agency in Dubai, Director of Economics and Tourism in the Emirate of Dubai Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Governor of the Dubai International Monetary Center, Director General of the Dubai Development Authority, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Center Commission and CEO of the Dubai Commission for Integrated Economic Zones.
By order, the Council also includes its members: CEO of the Dubai Aviation City Corporation, CEO of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center, CEO of the Maiden City Corporation, Vice-Chairman of the International Board of Directors, City and Director of the City of Dubai Healthcare for the Humanitarian Services Authority.
Membership of the Free Zones Council in the Emirate of Dubai has been revoked, adding Order No. 2015 (23) for the creation of the Free Zones Council in the Emirate of Dubai, Order No. 30 (2015) for the Addition of Members to the Free Zones Council in the Emirate of Dubai, and Order No. (25) for 2018. In addition, Order No. (11) 2020 adds membership to the Free Zones Council in the Emirate of Dubai and repeals any text in any other law which is contrary to the provisions of Order No. (48) of 2021, effective from 1 January 2022 and will be published in the Official Gazette .
